Bilberry has been used historically for the treatment of: poor night vision, bruising, capillary fragility, varicose veins, poor circulation, circulation disorders, rheumatoid arthritis, gout and periodontal disease. Bilberry is more in the mainstream herbals for the anti-aging groups. This herb was first used and studied for its effectiveness on poor night vision. It was even used during bombing runs at night, during war. It is said that the wives of the bombers would prepare bilberry jam sandwiches for their husbands, who were part of the bombing squads. Indeed, the regular use of the herb can help to improve the night vision capabilities. Bilberry may also be useful for glaucoma mainly because it strengthens connective tissue and prevents free radical damage.

Directions: Take 30-40 drops in a small amount of water 3 times daily between meals, or as directed by your Health Care Professional.
