Castor Oil is of course best known for it’s being an excellent laxative, but in reality it can help with so much more. Some of the other uses for which castor oil is a potent helper are various skin and eye care needs. For example, castor oil makes a potent wart remover, massaging it into a wart for 10 to 15 minutes twice daily, usually upon waking and night time will eliminate the wart.

When there is inflammation and dryness of the eyes, use a drop or two for relief, an added benefit of that is the smoothing of the area skin too.
For sparse lashes and brows, apply approximately four times a week and see lushness return.

This also works for hair on the scalp, massage into the scalp area at bedtime and wash thouroughly in the morning, usually about three times weekly and even after that for hair supplness a couple of times monthly.
When it comes to hemorrhoids, castor oil can alleviate painful symptoms and promote healing by softening the problem area when rubbed in often.

Castor oil is also used as a vehicle for the chest remedy turpentine, warm the oil and add the turpentine in for a chest rub to help relieve chest colds and bronchitis, use mainly at bedtime.

Painful bruising and other skin wounds such as ulcerations and sores can benefit from the application of castor oil.

When treatment is needed for corns, calluses and the like, use castor oil as a foot massage three times weekly before bed.
